DESCRIPTION
P 420 is a concentrated liquid product designed to prevent boiler deposits. The formulation contains complex phosphates used to precipitate soluble hardness from the boiler water. Complex phosphates are superior to normal phosphate used in boiler water treatment as they will minimise formation and fouling in boiler feed-water lines.

TREATMENT
P 420 is generally fed as a dilute solution to the boiler feed-water
line or direct into the boiler drum. The product may be fed along with
other boiler water treatment chemicals. Proper treatment levels for P
420 depend on may factors such as the severity of the problem water
conditions and conditions particular to a given installation. However,
an excess of 30 50 ppm phosphate as PO in the boiler water is normally
maintained.
HANDLING
P 420 is mild irritating and splashes should be washed with plenty of water.
