S 310 OXYGEN SCAVENGER


DESCRIPTION
S 310 consists of sodium sulfite and specially selected catalyst to provide an almost instantaneous oxygen removal even at low temperature. This product will effectively prevent oxygen corrosion in boiler system.

    TREATMENT

    Prepared as a 5% solution, it is recommended to feed to the preboiler section or direct to the boiler. Solution of catalysed sulfite must be covered with a float to minimise contact with air. The dosage of catalysed sulfite is regulated to maintain an excess of 30 ppm to 50 ppm of sulfite as SO3 in the boiler water.

    HANDLING

    Inhalation of dust should be avoided and the solution should not be taken internally.

    PACKING S 310 is available in moisture proof 50-liter drum.
