DESCRIPTION

ACCOTREAT C580 is a broad-spectrum biocide for algae and slime control in open and closed recirculating cooling systems. It is also used for the sanitisation of swimming pools.

C580 is based on a powerful, rapidly acting quaternary ammonium compound to provide effective microbiological control in water systems.

TREATMENT

C580 will provide effective control at dosages of 20 - 50 ppm into the cooling systems. However, occasional higher dosages or shock dosages will be necessary and recommendation will be provided by your ACCOT representative. For swimming pools sanitisation a dosage of 10-20 ppm is recommended.

C580 should be diluted with water before adding at various points around the cooling tower to avoid highly localized concentration and consequential foaming.

HANDLING

C580 is mildly irritating and splashes should be washed with plenty of water.

PACKING C580 is available in 25-liter and 100-liter containers.
