PRODUCT DATA

Bak-Wira MP 300

DESCRIPTION & USE

Bak-Wira MP 300 is a highly specialised combination of bacterial cultures specifically selected and adapted to degrade a wide range of organic wastes. It is proven to be effective to overcome a variety of problems such as periods of high influent loading, system start-up after mill shutdown, and unfavourable temperature conditions. This product is used to achieve consistent effluents with widely ranging influent organic levels, improve settleability of biological solids, reduces surcharges, correct low or inconsistent MLVSS numbers, control foam production from partially degraded organics and alter biomass dynamics gradually shifting towards a superior population.

Bak-Wira MP 300 is a live synergistic blend of all natural, Class 1 bacteria(mainly bacillus strains) and enzymes specifically chosen for their accelerated ability to degrade high level of bio-degradable contaminants , like sulphur containing compounds, solvents and other organic compounds into carbon dioxide and water. This product can also prevent hydrogen sulphide production.

Bak-Wira MP 300 contains facultative anaerobes which degrade with or without oxygen. Composed of several strains of bacteria which have been cultured for compatibility to feed on the same media and reproduce themselves to grow into adult form. These bacteria feed and reproduce while attacking the material in the water that causes pollution. Able to degrade in cold or hot conditions.

Bak-Wira MP 300 are live micro-organisms which must be seeded on a regular basis to maintain a high population
of organisms and to prevent total kill when an upset in the treatment occurs.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Bacteria and enzymes in Bak-Wira MP 300 perform well within a pH range of 5.5 to 8.5 with the optimum near pH 7.0. Toxic chemicals in waste water also adversely affect the survival of bacteria colonies. Temperature of the system should also be not more than 50 deg. C. Before application of Bak-Wira MP 300, the system should be controlled such that the correct balance of dissolved oxygen, nutrients, pH and temperature are present.

The dosage of Bak-Wira MP 300 depends on the organic loading of the waste water. For BOD loading of 1000 PPM and below, the following table will provide an indication of dosages, the dosages are based on PPM.
