COAG 577
DESCRIPTION
COAG 577 is a liquid cationic polyelectrolyte of medium molecular weight.
It works effectively as a primary coagulant and can replace alum and ferric
salts in waste water clarification.
COAG 577 is also usefull in other solid-liquid separation such as sludge
dewatering and clarifying elmulsions..
ADVANTAGES
Easy to apply; pourable liquid which simplifies dilution feed and handling
operations.
Economical; effective at low dosage levels thus resulting in reduced cost.
Reduces the need for post pH adjustment and works over a wide pH range (pH
5 - 10).
Forms low volume sludge; less sludge production compared with inorganic salts,
thus reducing sludge handling costs.
PRINCIPAL USES
Replaces inorganic salts as primary coagulant in influent and effluent
treatment.
Treatment of effluent waters containing organic matters, cellulose and
oil.
Pre-treatment of water for reverse osmosis and secondary oil recovery.
