DESCRIPTION
Sodium Hypochlorite is a liquid inorganic coagulant based on iron salt.
Its liquid nature enhances its activity and solubility to lend its widespread
application as an efficient coagulant in the treatment of potable water,
waste water and sludge conditioning.
ADVANTAGES Sodium Hypochlorite offers a number of advantages compared
to alum:
- Effective over a broader pH range from pH 4 to 12.
- No aluminum residue
- Denser flocs to aid rapid sedimentation
- Lesser sludge volume thus reducing handling cost
