Accot Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals for industrial water treatment and plant processes, with technical services supporting product application. Some products are blended at our Shah Alam factory; others are sourced from multinational corporations, locally and overseas. Our range covers coagulants, flocculants, pH adjusters and defoamers for water and wastewater treatment, together with process chemicals such as nutrients and disinfectants.
Our priority is achieving good treatment results rather than increasing sales volume. We work with customers as partners, developing solutions for their specific requirements and for today’s discharge regulations, while keeping our products and services cost-effective.
Our name
ACCOT stands for Advance Chemistry & Chemical Oriented Technologies, reflecting our commitment to applied chemistry backed by technical expertise.
Milestones
- 1981Established as Perutek (M) Sdn. Bhd., focused on boiler and cooling water treatment
- 1988Entered industrial wastewater treatment, starting with latex concentrate factory effluent
- 1990Renamed Mackim Chemicals Sdn. Bhd.
- 1995Began construction of first wholly-owned premises in Shah Alam
- 1996Moved into own factory
- 2000Appointed sole Malaysian distributor for Stockhausen (a Degussa unit) water treatment chemicals
- 2002Renamed Accot Technologies Sdn. Bhd.
- 2003Second factory built in Simpang Ampat, Seberang Perai
